Giano CareWhatsApp notifications
Let your team receive assignment updates on WhatsApp too.
For owners
With the WhatsApp add-on, members can receive work notifications on WhatsApp alongside email and the in-app bell: for example, a professional hears straight away that someone was assigned to them.
Turn it on
- Open Billing. The add-on is available on the Team and Organization plans, not on Starter.
- Under WhatsApp notifications, choose Enable WhatsApp.
The add-on has a monthly price, shown on the billing page.
Each member opts in
Turning it on doesn’t send anything by itself. Each member who wants WhatsApp messages opens their profile, enters their Mobile phone and ticks the WhatsApp consent box. They can switch it off at any time.
What the messages contain
Messages say what happened (for example, a new assignment), with a first name and a link to Giano Care. They never contain intake answers or message texts.
Monthly allowance
The add-on includes a monthly number of messages, shown on the billing page. After that, notifications for the rest of the month follow each member’s email setting instead.
Privacy
Messages are delivered by Meta, which processes members’ phone numbers. That is why each member must give their own consent, and why the setting is off by default.
To turn it off for everyone, choose Disable WhatsApp on the billing page.
